Overview of UNLEASHED 06:
The Events wrapped up with an outstanding Event in
Auckland.
2,700 men attended Auckland, about 600 more men than
last year. With a new venue, it really buzzed. You can see
photos and read men’s comments from every Event HERE.
The PK team is thrilled at how well the men liked
UNLEASHED.
We know that part of the incredible response to the
salvation call was because so many men brought their
unchurched friends along. Thanks to everyone who had
the enthusiasm and courage to invite men to UNLEASHED.
Overall attendance for all the Events
was 5,164 - well up on last year. 500 men are also
pre-registered for Fuel in 2007!
Your Harvest Celebration Event
Farmers are acutely aware of the seasons and know the
importance of timing. They know exactly when they have
to harvest hay and silage. At this time of year many will
also be shearing, drafting lambs, checking milk production
and doing weed control, etc. The pattern is predictable
from year to year.
The same is true for Ministry with Men. Right now is the
time to celebrate the successes of the year, acknowledge
and reward those who helped make it all happen and
evaluate the events and men who performed well.
Promise Keepers recommends holding a churchwide
event for men that brings all the men together to celebrate.
