External Security Team - Auckland


Purpose:  To serve as an Usher/Security attendee for the external arena of the Event.
Commitment Level:
Pre-Event: 2 hour briefing session
Event:      2 Days
                Friday 5.00 – 9.45pm
                Saturday 8.15am – 9.30pm
Responsibilities:
During Event: Co-ordination of parking for attendees cars, checking of wristbands.
Reports to:
Security Team Leader
Works closely with:
Security Team

Responsibilities pre-Event:
1. Pray for the Event.
2. Help recruit volunteers.
3. 3. Commit to attend the briefing session to familiarise yourself with venue and Event information, receive basic duty instructions, dress code and reporting instructions.

Responsibilities during Event:
1. Check in at the Volunteers Desk.
2. Report to your assigned Team Leader.
3. Become familiar with general Event information.
4. Direct the attendees parking their vehicle.
5. Direct attendees to arena entrances.
6. Watch over the carpark while the Event is on.
7. Report unauthorised access to Event Security Team Leader.

Additional Information:
Cost: No cost - Lunch & Dinner on Saturday will be provided.
Uniform: Black trousers, black top and comfortable shoes to be provided by attendee. Please note you may need a long sleeved top for warmth at times. PK Volunteers cap, high visibility jacket and name swinger will be provided by PK, which you will pick up on arrival at the Event.

Note: PK Volunteers cap to be returned to PK on Saturday at conclusion of Event.

You have the option of free registraton for another PK 2007 Event in New Zealand for volunteering at the Auckland 2007 Event. (Note: External Security Team get to see very little of the Event).
