DAVID MURROW

David Murrow is not a pastor, professor or theologian. He’s just a guy in the pews who’s tired of seeing churches blow it with men. As an elder in his mainline denominational church, David came to a crisis point when he
realised that the church’s structures were keeping him from having the adventure Christ intended for him to have. That prompted him to launch a study, which resulted in his book, Why Men Hate Going to Church, an instant Christian bestseller, with some one hundred thousand copies in print. His efforts spawned articles in the New York Times and Wall Street Journal, to name a few. He has also appeared on PBS, NBC, and Fox news shows, talking about the gender gap in churches. David’s background as a writer and producer of award-winning television documentaries and commercials have helped him immensely in his new-found task of helping men thrive in church. David now leads Church for Men,an organisation that
helps congregations reconnect with the world’s largest unreached people group – men. He lives in Alaska with his wife, Gina, three children, and a dachshund named Pepper.
